This article explains how to cancel a package subscription. To cancel individual optional services within a package subscription, follow these instructions.

How to Cancel a Package Subscription

To cancel a package subscription, log in to Cumulus and navigate to the relevant customer's account record. Then click the Package Subscriptions tab to open a list of the customer's package subscriptions.

Find the package subscription you want to cancel from the list, then click the Package Subscription Id. This opens the package subscription.

Under the Package Subscription Action heading, select Cancel Package Subscription


To cancel the service subscription:

  1. Select the reason for the cancellation.
  2. Enter an optional note.
  3. Optionally upload a file.
  4. Choose when you want the service to be cancelled from the list of available time frames.
    1. If you choose to cancel on a nominated date, enter it below the select option.
  5. Press Confirm Cancel to save the action.

When cancelling a package subscription, the service subscriptions under it will also be cancelled. However, some services within a package will have provisioning outcomes. After the package subscription is cancelled, these service subscriptions will adopt the Pending Cancellation status.

For manual and semi-manual services, cancel the service in Emersion first by going to Manual Provisioning, finding the service subscription and cancelling it. After that, cancel the service with the service provider. For automatically provisioned services, Emersion’s platform is integrated with the provisioning platform of the carrier, so you won’t need to cancel the service with the provider.
