Overview

The Default Account Start Date can be set to a relative date prior to the accounts creation date, rather than the default of today(The date the account was created on).

By default, when creating an account using the Create New Account wizard, the Start Date will be today by default. This can cause issues
for customers as they cannot then activate a package subscription as of any date prior, and there is no provision for the customer to be able to change
this date.


Description of Setting

This setting can be configured from the Admin > Settings > Service Provider Defaults > Accounts screen. The value selected for Default Account Start Date will be the value selected by default for Start Date when creating a new account through the Create New Account Wizard

In the image to the right, the Default Account Start Date is being set to 3 months prior.
In the Create Account Wizard shown below, you can see that the Start Date has defaulted to 3 Mar 2021 (image was taken on the 3rd June 2021)
