Overview

Sends a notification to alert a customer to an expiring credit card. 

This event is provided to service providers who subscribe to automated payments.

Licensing

This event is:

  • a standard event for Wholesale and Retail service providers 
  • included with a module or feature
  • a standalone event available upon request (please contact your Account Manager)





Trigger

The event is triggered when a customer's stored credit card is due to expire according to the rules defined in the threshold. 

Action Types

The event supports the following actions. 

  • Message
  • SMS
  • Log
  • On Screen

Template Variables

  • Account ID
  • Customer name
  • First name
  • Card type
  • Last 3 digit number
  • Months until expiry
  • Card expiry date


<months>1</months> - Credit Card expiry is noted in months.

By default, this is set to 1 month, meaning the event will fire when the customer's credit card will expire in the next month.
