Event type ID: 1046

Overview

This event will inform a service provider that a customer has submitted a new Vocus NBN order that requires modem delivery by the service provider. Provided the variable is used, the notification will tell the recipient the modem's delivery address.

Licensing

This event is:

  • a standard event
  • included for Wholesale and Retail Service Providers selling Vocus NBN services
  • a standalone event available upon request (please contact your Account Manager)

Trigger

This event is fired when a Vocus NBN order is submitted to Vocus via Emersion, while the service plan dictates that the service provider would provide a modem to the customer. The purpose of the event notification is to alert the service provider that it needs to arrange a modem delivery for the customer to a specified delivery address.

If the modem is not required or service plan dictates that modem delivery will be performed by Vocus, then the event will not fire.

  • The Request Delivery Address for Modem service plan setting must be enabled for this event to fire. Otherwise,  the order does not require modem delivery and there is no need for the event notification.
  • The Modem will be provided by Vocus and not the Service Provider service plan setting must be disabled for this event to fire. This is a child setting of the previous setting and dictates whether the modem will be provided by Vocus and not the service provider. If the onus is on Vocus, the service provider does not need to be notified.
