Overview
This article will explain Emersion's integration into Ezidebit for collecting BPay payments.

Emersion offers integration into several payment merchants for real time credit card and direct debit payments by way of the automated payments module. With BPay, and specifically our integration into Ezidebit, Emersion will poll Ezidebit each day for payments that have been settled with Ezidebit within the last 24 hours.
Prerequisites
The Ezidebit BPay integration requires the following before this can be used:
- An Ezidebit digital key, and configuration of this key by Emersion.
- A BPay Biller Code as provided by Ezidebit that has been configured in Admin > Payment Details > BPay Details. (See this article for more information on this)
- BPay reference numbers configured for all your customers. This can be completed per customer via Customer > Payment Methods > BPay Details (see Configure a Payment Method) or the Bulk Import Tool
- Message Templates configured for the following System Events in Events > Templates > Email
- EziDebit Bpay Payment Imports Unprocessed Payments
- EziDebit Bpay Payment Imports Processed Payments
- EziDebit Bpay Payment Imports Unprocessed Payments
If you do not have a digital key with Ezidebit or a Bpay Biller code, please contact our sales team who will be more than happy to assist.
How it Works
Emersion will look for any BPay payments that have been settled by Ezidebit in the last 24 hours. For each payment, the system will attempt to locate the customer via the BPay biller code and customer reference. If it is able to locate a customer, it will create the payment for the amount. If the customer cannot be located, you will be notified by the EziDebit Bpay Payment Imports Unprocessed Payments event (see above).
Payments will then be allocated to invoices as per our normal payment allocation process. Payments can also be allocated manually if required.
