Emersion provides a sophisticated Forgotten Password feature for the end user portal. This feature is designed to fully empower your customers to reset their passwords without needing to contact the Retail Service Provider for assistance.

There are 3 reset options

  • using a mobile number
  • using an email address
  • using a username

Prerequisites

Before attempting to use this feature, users should:

  • have write access to the Admin > Settings > End User Portal section of Cumulus.
  • have write access to event templates.
  • have a working end user portal.

Dependencies

In order to use this module, service providers must have:

  • a retail service provider account and staff login.
  • a working end user portal
  • a subscription to SMS Events if you plan to offer password reset notifications via SMS.  If you do not subscribe to SMS Events, the reset by SMS option will not be available.
