Overview

It is a requirement under the Telecommunications Act 1997 (Cth) that all carriage service providers who supply a carriage service to an end user using a public number must provide the public number and related customer data to the IPND Manager. Failure to comply with this obligation may attract remedial directions, formal warnings of a breach or ultimately invoke civil penalty provisions by the Australian Communication Media Authority (ACMA).

Emersion's IPND module ensures that service providers are compliant with the Act.
