The Permissions module is a core module of Emersion and provides the ability to grant and prevent access to modules, features and functions. 

The permissions module does not govern the access controls for End Users via the End User Portal. To grant or revoke access to the End User Portal, see this article.

Prerequisites

Before attempting to use this module, users should:

  • Have a staff user with the Administrator (Full Powers) level of access.

Dependencies

There is no dependencies for this module. It is a standalone module.


Access Control

Module permissions are used to control access to modules and powers are used to control access to features of a module, functions, and page sections.

The user(s) who will be responsible for permissions management will require full access to Emersion. Grant full access to Emersion by placing their staff account into the Admin Full Powers Org Unit and ensure the Admin Full Powers role group is attached to the Org Unit.
