Overview
The Emersion system supports the storage of network infrastructure details for a given carrier within Emersion, providing wholesalers and carriers a way to roll out their infrastructure to given addresses and store that information in Emersion. This information can also be used to place an order and perform service qualifications. Service qualifications (SQ) are a step in the ordering process for some automated service types in the telecommunications industry. This step is designed to ascertain if the service is available and can be used by end user.
Network infrastructure can also be managed in the Emersion system. For example, you can assign a port on a network device to a given address and keep track of which ports have been assigned to which addresses.
