Overview
This article explains what billing types are available for a given service type.
One of the settings on a service plan is the Service Type Billing Type. The options available to be selected are:
- Post Paid
- Prepaid
The options that are made available when creating a service plan is determined by the service type itself. The service type can be configured to allow one option, or all options. If only post-paid or is prepaid is set for a service type, all service plans will adopt this setting automatically and or cannot be changed by the user.
If the service type is configured to allow for both options, the setting will be a drop down menu for the user to make a choice.
A single service plan cannot be both a prepaid and a post-paid plan. If both options can apply, two plans will need to be created.
