Setting Name: Show Trading Name Only
It is possible for Organisation end users accounts to have a Trading Name different to the Organisation name (which represents the legal entity).
Default Rules for Organisation and Trading names on the Invoice
If there is no trading name, the system will display the organisation name.
If there is a trading name in addition to an Organisation name, the system will display <Organisation name> t/As <Trading name> on the invoice
This setting enables service providers to change the default behaviour and replace the organisation name with the trading name in its entirety.
When the setting is Enabled, and if the trading name is set, this system will:
- hide the organisation name
- display the trading name
in the customer address block located on the first page of the invoice.
