Overview
This article covers the basic settings of the Sign Up Portal.
Basic End User Portal Settings
Admin > Settings > Sign Up Settings > Details
The user will be presented with the following sub tab when first hitting the sign up page.
- Details
- Static Header and Footer
- Dynamic Header and Footer
- Logo
When the user first goes to the sign up settings, the Details tab will be displayed.
Click the Edit button to put the page into EDIT mode.
The upper section contains information that Emersion will populate on your behalf when we configure your sign up portal. Users only need to complete the section below that if they choose.
Populating the End User Portal Username
During the sign up process, one of the steps includes being able to set up a username and password for the End User Portal.
By choosing an option, the system will automatically assign the new customer a username for the end user portal. If it is preset using this method, the end user cannot change it This feature is handy for service providers who want customers to use a consistent format for end user portal usernames.
- If Account ID is chosen, the system will populate the username with the new account ID.
- If Primary Contact's email address is used, the system will populate the email address.
- If nothing is chosen, the end user can choose any username they like, provided it is not already in use by another customer.

Complete Redirection
If you want your users to be redirected to a specific page after they have submitted an order, please enter the full URL here. This is used by service providers who want to direct their visitors to a custom thank you page, or a specific area of their website.
Insert JavaScript Code
This field below provides a way for you to add some Internal JavaScript into the html header of the sign up portal. A valid format of JavaScript code is required to prevent page not working correctly. Please pay close attention to "White Space" and "Line Break" as this is a common.
Be extremely cautious about who modifies this field. Incorrect modification of this field can result in pages not functioning correctly. Maliciously motivated modification of this field can result in client-side code being executed on your visitors' computers simply by visiting your sign up portal.

Insert Style Sheet Code
This field below provides a way for you to add an internal CSS style sheet into the signup page. This will give user a clean way to split their styling and html.
