DESCRIPTION

This is the event mapping description. It is initially defined by Emersion when the event mapping is first created and (by default) takes the form System Event Type - (Profile Name).

Some event mapping descriptions may reference their event respective thresholds (eg. 50%, 1 Month, 3 Days).

You may request changes to the descriptions by providing Emersion Support with a list containing:

  • the EVENT_MAPPING_ID,
  • the OLD_EVENT_MAPPING_DESCRIPTION,
  • the NEW_EVENT_MAPPING_DESCRIPTION you want to see

THRESHOLD

Some event types can host values that are used to determine when an event is triggered. These are initially set by Emersion based on the event type. An example is the Invoice Overdue event type which can be triggered based on the number of days an invoice remains overdue. This value is used to determine when to send an notification to a customer advising them that their Invoice is x days overdue, where x = threshold value.

EVENT_TYPE_ID

EVENT_TYPE

EXTENDED_EVENT_LOGGING

Most events support logging information when the event is triggered. This information will be stored as a note under the relevant object (account, service, subscription, etc).
