Overview

The reports section provides access to reports provided by Emersion, along with some additional features and functionality. These include:

  • running reports to view the results on screen
  • exporting report data to a CSV file
  • export and download the results of larger reports that cannot be rendered on-screen
  • schedule a report to be run at a certain date/time or on a regular schedule
  • download reports are generated from a schedule.
  • have a generated report sent via email to a recipient.
  • collect reports via FTP (available via separate subscription)

As part of your core Emersion subscription, a list of 'standard reports' is made available to you. Additional reports may be made available to your service provider account because:

  • you have subscribed to a module or feature that includes reports specifically written for the module/feature
  • you use a service type that has specific reports for use with that service type.
  • you requested a custom report to be built for you by Emersion.
  • you have made a request for a report that is not on the standard list, or a need has been identified for you to leverage a report that is not on the standard list.

Where a report is included with a module or feature, the pages related to the module or feature will list them.

Optional Features

Report Specifications

With over 400 reports in the system and growing, it is not feasible for Emersion to maintain documentation for every report. In most cases, the report name and description should suffice Where we identify sufficient complexity or value in providing a detailed specification, these are listed below.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this module.

Dependencies

There is no dependencies for the Reports module. It is a standalone module.

Each report in the system can be independently enabled and disabled for each service provider account. Access to a report is dependent on whether or not it has been enabled for each service provider account(s).

Access Controls

Module permissions and powers are used to control access to modules, features, and functions.

If you are unable to access a given feature and you have checked the permissions and powers, please raise a support ticket via the service desk.

Due to historical and legacy reasons, access to reports is controlled by both module permissions and powers. Both the Reports module permission and All Reports power need to be enabled in order for a Cumulus user to use the Reports > List menu item.
