This notice is to advise that we have updated the Emersion system based on a code introduced by the Communications Alliance requiring providers to display the NBN AVC ID on invoices and the End User Portal. This requirement comes from C647:2023 NBN Access Transfer - accessible at https://www.commsalliance.com.au/Documents/all/codes/c647
Emersion has introduced a Service Identifier Type to the Service Identifiers set against a service to address the requirements. Type 12: NBN LOC ID and Type 13: NBN AVC ID data will be used to display the required information on the Invoice and End User Portal. All Existing LOC and AVC Service Identifiers in the database have been updated with the correct Service Identifier Type - 12 for NBN LOC ID or 13 for NBN ACV.
Invoicing Updates
When a Service Identifier is marked as Type 12: NBN LOC ID or 13: NBN ACV ID, the ID will display on the Invoice for NBN services.
They will be displayed below the current Core Identifier in the Invoice as:
- AVC1234556789012 - LOC123456789012 (if both are set)
- AVC1234556789012 (if only AVC is set)
- LOC123456789012 (if only LOC is set)

End User Portal Updates
In the End User Portal Services List, there is a new column for the Service Identifier Type and search options for the type.
There is also an action link on the right to show all "Service Identifiers."
This will bring you to another tab in the Service showing all Service Identifiers, not just the Core Identifier shown on the Services List Page.
Cumulus Updates
The Cumulus Service Subscriptions list has a new column for the Service Identifier Type and search options for the type.
The Service Identifier Tab has a new column for the Service Identifier Type and search options for the type.
We also added the Service Identifier - Vanity Identifier search option.
When adding or editing a service identifier, there is now the option to add an identifier type, as well as the Vanity Identifier.
