Overview

This training covers the use of the Events module and is delivered entirely online. 

The events module is responsible for automation of certain tasks in the system. Its most common uses are:

• to send automated notifications to customers either by email, or SMS.
• to generate reports
• to deliver reports that have been generated automatically via the scheduler.

Who Is this For?

The session is designed for any staff using Cumulus who are responsible for:

• creating and maintaining notification templates
• controlling the automation for any event type in the system.
• creating email or SMS blasts

Training Prerequisites

Prior to taking training on Events, users should have completed:

• Introduction to Cumulus and Customer Management

Application Readiness

There are no application-based prerequisites for this session.

Video Session Content

Events training is delivered entirely online via combination of video and articles. It will introduce the events features and functionality, including

• Event Types
• Triggers
• Actions
• Event Templates

We then introduce the most important events in the system.  The first two are critical. If they are not configured with a template and enabled, your customers' invoices cannot be delivered.
